AI assistants

Ask your AI what loads before consent. Then fix it.

Connect ChatGPT, Claude or your code editor to PrivaScan once. Ask which cookies and trackers your site loads before the visitor clicks the banner, where the data goes and which rules that touches. Fix the code with the suggested change, re-scan, and see what was resolved.

Works on every plan, including the free one. You choose the sites and the access when you connect.

From finding to fix, in one conversation

  1. 01 Ask

    “Which cookies and trackers load on my site before consent?” The assistant reads the findings of your latest scan.

  2. 02 Understand

    For each one: the tracker and the third-party host, the cookie names it stored, severity, the country and whether that is a cross-border transfer, the rules it touches (e.g. GDPR Art. 6, ePrivacy Art. 5(3)) and the fix.

  3. 03 Fix

    In Cursor, VS Code or Claude Code the assistant can apply the fix to your own code, for example load the tag only after consent or set Consent Mode defaults to “denied”.

  4. 04 Re-scan

    After you deploy, it starts a new scan, waits for it, and compares it with the previous one: what was resolved, what is still there.

What your assistant can do

Read

  • Your sites with their A–F grade, last scan and monitoring state
  • Findings: trackers and cookies set before consent, host, severity, country, the rules they touch, evidence and the fix — filter by severity, category, cookie or page
  • The consent banner: consent platform found, Google Consent Mode, the Reject test and what loads only after Accept (from a site-wide crawl)
  • Scan history, crawled pages, the change between two scans and the trend over time
  • Monitoring alerts, report PDFs with their public verification link, and what needs your attention

Read and re-scan

  • Scan a site again — free and unlimited on every plan, up to 20 started from assistants per hour
  • Turn monitoring and its e-mail alerts on or off (Monitor and Compliance plans, verified site)
  • Set a site's name and regime (KVKK, GDPR or both), mark alerts as read
  • Nothing here uses up your plan

Read, scan and manage

  • Add a site (uses a site slot of your plan)
  • Run a site-wide crawl (Monitor and Compliance plans)
  • Make the Privacy Scan Report or the GDPR Art. 30 inventory PDF, if your plan includes it
  • Each only after you say yes in the chat

Try asking

  • “Which cookies and trackers load on shop.example.com before consent?”
  • “Which of them send data outside the EU, and under which rule is that a problem?”
  • “Show me the fix for the Google Analytics finding in our layout file.”
  • “I deployed the fix. Scan again and tell me what was resolved.”
  • “Did monitoring find any new tracker on my sites this week?”
  • “Make the GDPR Art. 30 data inventory PDF in German.”

You stay in control

  • When you connect, you choose all your sites or one, and the access: Read (the default), Read and re-scan, or Read, scan and manage.
  • The assistant works as you and sees only your own sites.
  • Anything that uses up your plan — adding a site, a site-wide crawl, a report PDF — needs your explicit yes in the chat.
  • Only cookie names, hosts, categories and countries are shared: never cookie values, your visitors' data or the test account you stored.
  • Only public websites can be scanned: local and private-network addresses are refused, exactly as in the dashboard.
  • Billing, deleting sites, ownership verification and test accounts stay in the dashboard. Disconnect any time under Account → AI assistants.

The findings are technical evidence of what the tested page(s) did before consent, not legal advice. The assistant is told never to call a site “compliant”.

Set it up

Each assistant below signs in with your PrivaScan account (OAuth): add the server address, sign in, choose the sites and the access. Menu names change between app versions; if a step looks different, look for “Connectors”, “MCP” or “custom server”.

Web and desktop app

ChatGPT

  1. Open Plugins and choose + → Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it PrivaScan and paste the server address.
  3. Choose OAuth as authentication, confirm the warning and create it.
  4. Install the plugin, sign in to PrivaScan and choose the sites and access.
  5. In a new chat type @PrivaScan and ask. ChatGPT asks you before a tool that changes something runs.

Available on paid ChatGPT plans; in Business and Enterprise an admin may need to allow custom servers.

claude.ai and the desktop app

Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it PrivaScan and paste the server address.
  3. Choose Connect, sign in to PrivaScan and choose the sites and access.
  4. In a chat, open the tools menu and make sure PrivaScan is on.

On Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to add the connector for the organisation first.

Terminal

Claude Code

  1. Run the command below.
  2. Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose privascan and Authenticate.
  3. Sign in to PrivaScan in the browser and choose the sites and access.
claude mcp add --transport http privascan https://privascan.talivio.com/mcp

Editor

Cursor

  1. Open Cursor Settings → MCP and add a new server, or put the snippet below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
  2. Choose Connect next to privascan and sign in to PrivaScan.
  3. Ask in the Agent chat, next to the code you want to fix.
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "privascan": {
            "url": "https://privascan.talivio.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}

GitHub Copilot in VS Code

VS Code

  1. Run “MCP: Add Server…” from the Command Palette, choose HTTP and paste the server address, or add the snippet below to .vscode/mcp.json.
  2. Start the server when VS Code asks, then sign in to PrivaScan.
  3. Use it in Copilot Chat in agent mode.
{
    "servers": {
        "privascan": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://privascan.talivio.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}

Terminal

Gemini CLI

  1. Run the command below.
  2. In Gemini CLI run /mcp auth privascan and sign in to PrivaScan.
gemini mcp add --transport http privascan https://privascan.talivio.com/mcp

OpenAI Codex CLI and IDE extension

Codex

  1. Run the first command to add PrivaScan.
  2. Run the second to sign in to PrivaScan in your browser.
codex mcp add privascan --url https://privascan.talivio.com/mcp
codex mcp login privascan

With a key instead of a sign-in

Any other client

  1. In PrivaScan open Account → AI assistants and create an AI key: Read; Read and re-scan; or Read, scan and manage; all sites or one.
  2. Send it as a header with the server address. For example in Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http privascan https://privascan.talivio.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer psk_…"

A key acts as you. It is shown once; keep it secret and revoke it on the same screen.
